Meet the Photographer
Nathan Allan is an Oxfordshire-based photographer and filmmaker with more than twenty-five years of professional experience, working across portraiture, commercial photography and fine-art landscapes.
His photography explores the relationship between light, atmosphere and the character of a subject. From intimate portraits to expansive landscapes, his approach is thoughtful and observant, creating images with depth, presence and a strong sense of place.
His career has taken him throughout Britain and abroad, photographing members of the Royal Family, celebrities and public figures. His films have featured on History Hit TV and at Normandy’s historic landing beaches, while his experience has also seen him train photographers from across the country.
Alongside his commissioned work, Nathan’s personal photography reflects a longstanding fascination with landscape, heritage and the traces of human life within them.
